Physiotheraputic maintenance
Our four legged friends are our prized possessions, ensure they are feeling their best for as long as possible. With consistent maintenance plans to support long term mobility and reduce changes of injury or re-injury. This will consist of dynamic and palpation assessments coupled with Massage, electrotherapy and remedial exercise prescription.
Individualised treatment
We offer a range of specialized services tailored to meet your animals individual needs. Our services are evidenced based and individualised to each and every patient.
Comprehensive assessment
Before any treatment, every session will begin with a full body assessment including dynamic, palpation and range of motion. This gives us feedback on how they are coping with their everyday demands and what areas our treatments should target. Please note: any animal with an undiagnosed lameness is not able to be treated and will require a vet referral before treatment can commence.
Manual Therapies
Following the initial assessment the most vital part of any treatment is manual muscle manipulation. This will help relieve any restriction within the muscle as well as providing pain relief for your companion. This will consist of a range of massage techniques and various stretches.
Electrotherapies
Class 3b LASER therapy provides pain relief with a long carry over period ensuring your animal remains as comfortable as possible for as long as possible. Additional benefits include speeding up the rate of recovery and enhanced blood flow to get your animal back to what they love, sooner.
Remedial exercise prescription
Following each session a tailored remedial exercise plan will be sent over for you to complete in between sessions. This is vital to help your animal gain muscle strength in the targeted areas to help meet yours and your animals individual needs. This can be in the form of injury recovery to help increase strength of damaged tissues or performance enhancement exercises for maintenance cases.
